The City-Visitor website helps many people to find the River Bar & Kitchen in Cambridge by keeping it at the top of Google searches for ‘restaurants in Cambridge.’
Will Davies, of the River Bar & Kitchen, says that City-Visitor is the reason that they get so many people through the door, as the restaurant and bar are not on a main shopping street and footfall in the area is low.
“Our restaurant and bar overlook the river in the centre of Cambridge, but it is not a particularly busy area,” says Will.
“Our City-Visitor listings have kept us at the top of online searches for ‘restaurants in Cambridge’ which means that people do find out about us, which is great for business.”
He adds: “This is particularly true during the summer months, when we have lots of visitors who have found us on the web from the City-Visitor website. This is invaluable to us: we do not have to spend vast amounts on advertising in magazines like we used to.
“People use the Internet so much more now than browsing magazines and as time goes on the Internet becomes an increasingly popular place for looking for places to eat.
